Henkel’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, not only in its workforce but also in the local communities it serves, is on full display at Sunshine School. The Northwest Arkansas team has supported Sunshine School for years and has increased their involvement significantly in the past two years. One of the reasons for their involvement is Cassie Ross, National Business Manager for Laundry & Home Care. Soon after Cassie’s son, Henry, started receiving services at Sunshine School, she invited her local team to expand their partnership with the school. Their support has included an annual supply of laundry soap for our preschool, volunteer involvement, a $10,000 grant for much needed updates to our playground, and the Presenting Sponsorship for our Power of Inclusion virtual panel discussion and luncheon this month.

We are so grateful for the financial support that Henkel has given over the past year, but we are also so glad to see the support the company has demonstrated for special needs parents, like the Rosses. “Henkel has been incredibly supportive of me and my family, since learning of Henry’s autism diagnosis”, shared Cassie. “Our North American leadership team, as well as the local Bentonville team has been invested in Henry’s progress since day one and are always there to cheer on his successes. The flexibility and care that they show me as an employee and special needs mom is really unmatched. I am so thankful for their support!”’
