ART FEEDS MURAL COMING SOON

An innovative collaboration for Sunshine School and Art Feeds.

We have loved partnering with Sunshine School to create a student-designed Art Feeds mural! Over 4 lessons, students were introduced to community art, they chose a theme and color scheme, and they drew the actual drawings that will be showcased in the mural. Then the Art Feeds team worked with graphic designers to reflect the vision of the students and staff into a digital art piece. We traced every drawing from students and sometimes helped bring their vision to life through illustration!

The mural art will be printed on panels and porcelain tiles for display at Sunshine School and at Citizens Park in Bentonville, AR. For the mural on location at Sunshine School, we have partnered with students in the EAST program at Helen Tyson Middle School to create interactive pieces activated by sound and movement to create a sensory experience with their own artwork. We love getting to collaborate with children, so bringing in middle schoolers to make the project even more engaging is extra special to us.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for a Facebook Live-streamed mural reveal coming up on Tuesday, November 10th for the interactive mural at Sunshine School. The mural at Citizens Park will be revealed on Saturday, November 14th. These mural reveals are great encouragers to students because they're able to see that their artwork has value and is worthy of celebration.
