COOKIES WITH SANTA 2019

Thanks to all who made it a joyous night for our students and families!

We are so thankful our annual Sunshine Christmas party, known as ‘Cookies with Santa,’ was another great success! This year we had 74 families in attendance. Having the building full of 246 party-goers was a joyous time!

We had door prize giveaways, games and prizes, craft tables, raffles, cookie decorating and of course, pictures with Santa. We want to give our thanks to the volunteer groups that helped the night of the event to make it a success. Thank you to Acosta who handed out goodie bags, students from the Ignite program who assisted with pictures with Santa and wearing our Ray costume, the Sunshine School Young Professionals who assisted families with cookie decorating, and a volunteer group from The House who provided crafts and snacks. These volunteer groups were brought to us through the coordination and support of our Philanthropy Team and Mr. Bryan Precure.

Helping me with this event are committee members Crystal Littrell, Nicole Schmidt, Jason Nordstrom, Mary Beth Tritt, Elizabeth Ledbetter, Kelli Sowers, Maria Duran, Morgen Osborn, and Rodolfo Hernandez aka "Chacco" who at the last minute swooped in to help with setting up tables, chairs, and Santa's backdrop. And finally, thanks to those who made the evening extra special: Yordin Pineda who helped bake cookies for the event, Odalys Pineda who created the playlist that set the festive mood for the evening, and, of course, the star of the event, Mr. Lou McGrail as Santa! Thank you for making this a special event for our students and their families!
